Built in 1930 and completely re-designed in 2015, the Mountain Chalet Ghilga in Ortisei in Val Gardena will not only meet your needs, but completely surpass them. For the first time, this property is available to rent for the winter season 2015/2016. The luxury chalet offers a total of 5 levels and 150 m² with everything that a holidaymaker could ever want. There are many desirable facilities such as: panorama window, rooftop viewing point and other luxurious details that guarantee an unforgettable stay in a truly special location. The "Ghilga" chalet takes its name from the Madonna lily. The chalet is unique and noble just like the beautiful lily. The two double bedrooms, with en-suite bathrooms, and cosy living room can accommodate up to seven people comfortably.
The chalet is located in a slightly elevated, central position with a charming view of the surrounding mountains and the municipality of Ortisei, on the sunny side of the Val Gardena. The lift facilities can be reached quickly and easily by public buses, some of which stop directly at the chalet. The centre of Ortisei, with its many shops and fantastic restaurants, is just a 5-minute walk away. A beautiful panoramic garden and two balconies offer you a wonderful view of the Val Gardena's mountain landscape.

PRIVATE LIVING SPACE ON FIVE FLOORS WITH HEATED GARAGE, SPA AREA AND PANORAMIC GARDEN
The exclusive mountain chalet Ghilga in Val Gardena is at your disposal including the entire living space and all of the facilities, such as the private spa. The chalet is spread over five floors. The sumptuous dwelling has been designed using many natural materials such as stone and old wood. Due to its position on the hillside, you'll have a beautiful view over Ortisei and the Sassolungo mountain range. The chalet is south-facing, so you will be able to enjoy plenty of sunshine, with light coming in through the large panoramic windows both in the living area and the bedrooms, as well as on the panoramic terrace garden. The garden is equipped with deckchairs and chairs and it offers a magnificent view of the majestic Sassolungo mountains. There is also a barbeque for guests to cook and relax.
On the ground floor, there is a spacious living room and dining room with a fully equipped kitchen, an induction hob, oven with an integrated microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine, toaster and a kettle. A wine cellar with a selection of more than 30 fine wines with the matching "ZALTO" glasses is also available for use. The house has a wine menu with over 500 wines, all of which can be delivered directly to the chalet.
The dining area has a fine dining table, which seats six to eight people comfortably. The adjoining living area is equipped with a cosy sofa set, an Led 48 inch flat screen TV with 140 channels and a Heos multi-room sound system. From this area, you can also access the panoramic terrace garden, which boasts wonderful views of the surrounding landscape, the Dolomites – which are a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site. On the first floor, you will find a double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and a double sink, shower, bidet and a WC. On the second floor there is our carefully tucked away attic room. This room is also equipped with an en-suite bathroom with a shower, bidet and WC. Both rooms have their own private balconies.
Guests may also use the heated private garage, which can comfortably accommodate three cars up to a height of 2.60 meters. The chalet also has a private elevator. Furthermore, this elegant holiday home is also accessible via an external staircase. This entrance leads you up into the heart of the chalet.
In the basement, there is a ski room with a ski rack and a boot dryer, as well as a laundry room equipped with a washing machine, dryer and ironing set. These can be used upon request.

The private spa area, measuring 50 m², is located on the ground floor of the chalet and it is there for your use. The luxurious facilities include a Finnish sauna, a steam bath, a whirlpool, an adventure shower and a cooler sauna area for cooling down. In the adjacent rest area, cosy water beds invite you to take some time to relax and dream. On this floor there is also a separate guest toilet complete with a shower and a resting room, with its own bed.

The quiet, sunny yet central location of the luxury chalet means you're spoilt for choice when it comes to sports activities or relaxing holidays in the fresh, mountain air.
Your stay in the skiing hotspot, Val Gardena with the Sellaronda, begins at the cable car of Seceda, which is only 900 meters away from the chalet. You can reach the station easily and quickly thanks to a 2 minute bus connection and the subsequent escalators. The ski bus stop is directly in front of the chalet. Unforgettable winter pleasures are never too far away! Skiers, snowboarders, mountaineers and cross-country skiers will love the Val Gardena. The chalet is also accessible by car in winter. You can safely and comfortably park your vehicle in the heated garage.
In the summer, you can head off on foot or by bus to begin your hikes, mountain tours, climbing expeditions and walks in the UNESCO World Natural Heritage. Many walking and hiking trails begin directly at the front of the chalet. The popular "Promenade", which connects the three villages of Ortisei, Santa Cristina and Selva, is found right at the front of the house.
